About the Principal Engineer and Managing Director
Daly Kelly is a chartered Mechanical Engineer, a Queensland Approved Person, Vehicle Engineering Signatory, Registered Professional Engineer Queensland, with 20 years experience in rotating equipment, mechanical engineering, and asset integrity.
Since 2016, Daly Kelly has been building an engineering business that services the vehicle industry in Australia - individuals, fleets, dealerships and the mining industry. It started as a hobby while working in the oil and gas industry after someone asked him in some frustration how they could get their vehicle certified. Daly Kelly specialises in GVM upgrade certification, vehicle modification design, light and heavy vehicle engineering, and braking assessments, towing and load carrying solutions for 4WDs, commercial vehicles and mining/fleets.
Starting in the Northern Territory, Daly has now built an Australia wide service with inspectors in Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory. He and his team can also service other jurisdictions on their frequent travels around the country, and have multiple partnerships with 4wD service workshops, and autopart factories to provide diverse solutions to the myriad of standard and not so standard problems that come their way.

Vehicle Modification
Certification of a 4" Dobinson lift kit (front and rear) with 35" tyres, taking overall height from 1970mm to 2120mm — the max permitted 150mm lift.
